I have created a GoFundMe to better assist myself in raising enough funds for my top surgery.Top surgery is a surgical procedure that masculinizes the chest by removing breast tissue or altering the nipples and areolae. Male chest reconstruction may be performed in cases of gynecomastia and gender dysphoria.
Why
The surgeons in our area are all booked out besides one, who isn't covered by our insurance. They are asking for around $8,000.This surgery will mean a lot to me as everyday activities such as school, sports, work, and hobbies have become increasingly taxing on my mental and physical health as I continue to wear sports bras and binders.
